Configure how unique identifiers are generated for documents. All versions of a document share the same identifier.
Identifier System Setup
Set up your identifier system in two stages:
- Code Dictionary: Define codes and their meanings
- Template Generator: Create templates that combine codes, separators, and auto-numbers
Note: Identifiers are automatically generated when creating new documents and are locked once set. All versions of a document share the same identifier.
